Support of national production

Rosstandart took the initiative to support national producers. The company will develop regulatory and technical documents that define the standards for innovative products. This statement was made by the head of the Federal Agency Anton Shalaev during a visit of one of the concerns of the Moscow region on February 11.

Many innovative developments currently have no way to be implemented in Russia due to the lack of standards. It is almost impossible to bring these types of products to the wide market, because they cannot pass the test according modern requirements.

The result of the meeting was the decision to form a separate subcommittee based on the technical committee for standardization No. 384 "Civil and service weapons and cartridges for them" (LC 384). New specifications will be developed to target specific devices. The innovation will provide opportunities for all national manufacturers to diversify their products and supplies, as well as to present themselves on the world market.
