The standard "All-inclusive" in the field of tourism

3 марта 2021

Innovations in standardization have also affected the tourism sector. The standard that will regulate the provision of hotel services in the all-inclusive format is planned to be developed in Russia. Such an order came from Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko to Rostourism.

Representatives of the organization noted that for hotels the concept of "all inclusive" means different things. For instancee, one hotel provides five meals a day, while another can provide food at any time of the day. This applies to the proposed alcoholic beverages as well. Therefore, Rostourism will change and systematize the rules for establishments in order to eliminate misunderstandings between tourists and hotels. Two categories will be introduced: "all inclusive" and "ultra all inclusive".

The all-inclusive format will be necessary for establishments that serve up to 150 rooms.  Hotels in the Krasnodar Territory in the peak tourist season have difficulties with the supply of products and their quality. The current situation is comparable to the Turkish hotel and restaurant business, which includes the local production of food and alcoholic beverages.

In order to protect the interests of consumers, the Deputy Prime Minister asked Rosturizm to introduce a moratorium on the bankruptcy of travel agencies. Many tour operators were unable to fulfill consumer requests due to the undverse epidemiological situation in the world. By the end of last year, Rosturizm counted a debt of 16 billion rubles.
